Pros

RBC allows flexible hours for my position because I am part of a commissioned sales force. The corporate culture is very much like an institution. Meaning work is the number one priority and socializing is not always incouraged. We have a very diverse workforce with many ethnic origins being represented. Due to the nature of our clientele this is very important. RBC also gives great benefits to it's employees. We have an excellent health and dental plan, along with a good pension and stock opition plan. The best part of all is the opportunities for promotion. With worldwide operations there is always somewhere to move up to.

Cons

One very big minus is that you cannot really take a day or two off, since you are glued to the telephone.

There is too much divide. The firm is in the process of growing and with that come some growing pains. In a year from now when it shakes out it will probably be an even better place to be.
