Pros

Great insurance coverage, dental and eyeglasses

Cons

first of all the salary not matching with the complexity of work. No flexibility ! if you have kids, if ever they get sick your supervisor will ask you to find a solution, take an unpaid day off is not an option. 2 weeks of vacation on summer time and 3 weeks of vacation on winter time ( depends on business needs ) . if you have an important life event or whatever need -they promote the option of taking unpaid 10 days vacation, but its never getting approved because its depend on business needs - but the Business is always in need !!! only form the main reason that nobody want to work over for long enough .. so there and there missing people in every team. the Team managers only care about how much you sell to the client, they wont say it directly ofc, they will name it "solutions" just to mask it . Once you finally have the chance to move to different department you will automatically receive the worst schedule that is existing normally 16:00-22:00 , no matter how long you have been in the company, and you will stay in this shift until the next unknown shift biding.

Pros

- depending on team, the manager and colleagues can be great - competitive salary compared to 5 big banks in Toronto

Cons

- can be political - too much unnecessary red-tapes, work-flow becomes slow - very low salary compared to big tech-company - very hard to get promoted (small increase in salary yearly) - like to use 3rd party contractor (which means the knowledge is gone after implementation) - very little FTE , which means super busy ( depends on the team)
