My team's workload was transferred to another site due to cost-cutting. Those that managed to transfer to other departments were those whose salary was near the entry level. Those with experience and with higher salary were not accepted in other departments as they could not afford our salary. We will let go unexpectedly 3 months before Xmas. Weeks before our last day the company disabled our gate access and deleted our files and folders. The did not keep their promise that no one will lose their jobs. More than a dozen good hard working employees lost their jobs so the company could save money and the company wasn't even going through financial hard times.
