      Bad Experience in the Dallas Office

      Pros

      Great 401k plan and generous PTO.

      Cons

      In my opinion; No work life balance, horrible culture. A lot of gossip, cut throat environment, lack of genuine respect for subordinates.

      -Pay seemed nice, until you realize how many hours you are expected to work.

      Cons

      -constant pressure by upper management to hit charge hour goals -complete lack of training, which was extremely disappointing given the promise of "development". Not only that, but knew they were not providing adequate training, and did not do anything to remedy. -Over hire for busy season just to lay people off after. Stop trying to make this seem acceptable. If you don't plan on retaining your employees, just don't hire them. This is a bad business practice. -High turn over, not ideal for a work environment, people constantly leaving -Zero large client rentetion. Once they become successful companies they switch to big 4.

      Pros

      I worked with a variety of consultants and easily found them to be great to work for. Most have an "open door" policy and encourage questions and suggestions. The consultants consider their support staff to be an important part of their teams.

      Cons

      Support staff tends to be rigid and unchanging. Public humiliation from management is considered an effective tool to increase employee engagement. Rules differ from person to person and from day to day with no communication on changes. Management's policies do not pertain to management.
