Pros

Work-life balance, Good infrastructure, office timings

Cons

Employees hired from non-corporate competitor companies and are now promoting the "lala"culture on the floor. They shout on their subordinates and even abuses them on the floor itself, in front of many people from different teams. They even fired few employees just because they took un-informed leaves on the event of someones death in their family. Randstad is hiring - sacked people from competitors just to fill-up thier positions. We are loosing precious talent. There is so much negativity on the floor that almost everyone is looking out for a job change and the competitors are using this situation to get the most talented out of Randstad. Small companies are signed up as our clients and forced consultants work on positions for which no one is ready to apply for and even if somehow the position gets closed, the clients do not pay and the management cuts our incentives. It was way better earlier. The attrition rate has gone significantly high and we have lost many talented employees working from last 4-5 years.

The typical recruitment agency

Pros

Great team Fancy office Many teambuilding events on- and offsite throughout a year You have a good deal of freedom in organizing your own job You can learn a lot about recruitment and the company offers some valuable trainings you can participate.

Cons

Huge employee turnover I's ALL about money. Many KPI's are based on input not on achievement (except for the revenue you generate) The organizational structure is really flat, there are artificially created seniority levels that have only small differences, but basically you do the same thing. No real growth opportunities in the company.
