      A Decent Contract Work Company

      Pros

      They pay well and hire people who are capable even if they do not have a lot of experience. Technisource works hard to ensure you are doing well on the job and that you and the job are a good fit for each other. There is usually an agent from Technisource on your job site once a week and they will listen to any feedback their employees have to offer.

      Cons

      Health benefits are non-existent to contract workers. You often get pressured into working overtime. Typical cons of being a contract worker in a large corporation.

      Pros

      Competitive pay (provided you do your homework and advocate for yourself), hands-off approach to management (no one knows what you do anyways), faster access to harder-to-enter companies

      Cons

      You're on your own - and you better watch your own back, they don't treat their talent well, they pass on contract cuts to employees (not the branch manager, of course)

      Good company to work for, higher up a very political environment though

      Pros

      They practise what they preach in terms of coaching, training and develpment. Most excellent guidance I've ever seen. Great company to make or start career.

      Cons

      You need to like the political game when getting higher in the tree. But probably that's the same everywhere. A lot of governance, reporting, overhead, discussions, talking, little doing. Internal operations could be way more pragmatic. Senior management has trouble not jumping into micro-management (but they do acknowledge this and thats a start).
