-No work life balance. Management does not encourage work/life balance. The team is encouraged to guilt others when they do take time off.
-"Frat boy" corporate culture. Very much a "boys club." Lots of partying, competition, drama, and politics as a regular part of the culture. This is encouraged from the top down.
-Some managers are better than others. They have their strengths - there is not a single manager in Toronto Head Office that is equally balanced as a business and people manager.
-High-stress culture. Prepare to sacrifice your mental/physical health for the exhausting demands of the job - or supplement with extensive partying and drugs (which is why there is so much of it amongst the team).
-Lots of favoritism from management. Account Managers are viewed as the highest class - and if you're not an Account Manager, you're treated as less than.
-Very KPI-driven environment. This can be positive for some, negative for others - just know what you're getting into.
-Incredibly high turnover due to the above reasons. "Revolving door" is a term commonly used at Randstad.
