Pros

Meet a ton of cool people in the action sports and lifestyle industry. Perks include access to major sporting events, concerts, and nightlife functions. It's a good springboard for a field marketing job and it's great to have on your resume.

Cons

Sporadic hours and inconsistent work schedule. You never know when you are going to work so scheduling time off is hard at times, because you may not work for several weeks and then all of the sudden you have a lot of events and activations to cover in one week. Upward mobility is difficult and takes a while to move up.
