      A mixed bag

      Pros

      Good work life balance with not very long working hours. Job security. Chance to work abroad. Brand name.

      Cons

      Pay isn't great but that's the story of the automotive domain. Peer group not great (its a mixed bag). But that depends on your expectation. Career growth, promotions in most cases is time dependent (like a govt. job) and not so much performance dependent.

      It is good for people with little career motivation. Steady job, steady salary but not enough for anything.

      Very good people, good engineers, great office, lots of green plants.

      Cons

      Ridiculous salary, absolutley no career development for 99% of the people. You have to be a kissass to achieve anything. Saying no is worse than killing people. Lots of after hours work, even saturdays. Absolutely no work-life balance, stressful projects.
