Home office work environment in Calgary is ok, Project Sites like Horizon, Fort Mackay and Husky Project Site are the worst places to work. 12 people got fired since November 2012, 4- resigned, 4- removed from the site (Horizon), the only reason is that site management dont like them. 95% of management is Italian people. They come from a very different culture, they dont realize our values, respect, freedom and dignity in Canada. Their attitude and behaviour with site employees is worst. These sites are already a very stressed places and they increase more stress to their employees' work environment. They shout and yell at their employees very often. Most of the management have experience working in middle east, asian and africa, so they treat the employees in Canada likewise. They dont provide their emloyees with any kind trainings, professional development and very reluctant to share information with them and there is no learning culture. They don't have any work related ethics and have very poor relationship with their employees. Harrasment and bullying is very common. Employees are suffering alot, and while most of them are immigrants, and need experience in Canada for their future, so they are reluctant to complain or protest against this injustice.
