      Great opportunities stymied by poor senior management.

      Pros

      Global business scope. Deep pockets virtually eliminates limits to investment size. Global brand makes it easy to get meetings/interviews. Very good compensation (if expatriate).

      Cons

      Almost exclusive focus on risk avoidance rather than potential upside. Unrealistic return expectations, especially given low risk tolerance. Inflexibility in adapting to local (non-Korean, non-Samsung) business practices and norms. Poor strategy and planning. Promotion based on tenure, not performance.
