Pros

There are no many reasons to work in this company. it might be a good place to learn after you get out of school in you want to be in the hardware distribution industry.

Cons

I will suggest you avoid working for this company in Miami. It is just a warehouse with boxes to move and extremely poor management. Salaries are very low.

Pros

Worked at ScanSource for about a year and a half now. The culture is great for a young person fresh out of college. The average age in RFS is probably 26-27, so going to work is actually fun. I'm not sure how the pay stacks up against other entry level positions in the industry, but I know I make a little more than a friend of mine in his second year in banking. Management also believes in profit sharing with employees, and make large contributions to employees 401(k)s.

Cons

Work can be tedious, and RFS doesn't get any of the gifts, perks, and catered lunches that are showered on the sales team, but it also makes for a little more camaraderie.

Great company culture and friendly coworkers.

Cons

The salary (if not in Sales) is below average. Your reward for staying with the company is more work due to the constant turnover. In order to advance, you must be willing to work 11:30 am - 8:30 pm. Your raise is the shift differential pay to work those hours.
