I worked at ScSc for 2 years as an associate product manager. The company is led by smart, caring management and will be around for a long time to come. Profit sharing, great benefits, huge health initiatives (2 gyms onsite), friendly young coworkers, etc. FUN place to work
Cons
It is imperative that you have a good team lead/ manager. Without one, you could be pigeon holes without a promotion, but moving internally to another position is generally encouraged so this isn't a huge issue.

Used to be a great environment to work in with great management. Last 5 years company has changed drastically. People are in management positions that shouldn't be and less and less focus being put on the most important asset they have which is the people that work there. This has led to low morale and higher turnover. Wake up upper management or you will look up very soon and see that your culture that was once a positive differentiator has turned in to a negative differentiator.

Good health and wellness benefits. Two on-site gyms in Greenville office, as well as a wellness clinic. Fitness classes, on-site Bistro if you can't get out for lunch, annual biometric screenings and free flu shots for the entire family. Work environment is pretty positive. Monthly company meetings keep employees updated on new programs, financials, charitable work in the community (ScanSource does A LOT of great things in the community), etc. Most of the executive leadership team is great. CEO is visible and takes time to talk to employees, get to know you. Salaries are fairly competitive.
Cons
Sometimes it's hard to focus in an open office/cube environment. There can be a lot of chatting around you which can be distracting. There's a sense of limited career advancement opportunities.

Low base, not a lot of freedom, confusion on how we got paid, hard to get a decent account base now

Young,vibrant community with an excellent corporate culture and fun company events. Great work environment and work-life balance. The corporate headquarters are located in Greenville, SC which is a beautiful up-and-coming city and a good place to raise a family.
Cons
Depending on the department, there are limited opportunities for serious advancement. Entry-level salaries are reasonable, but do not necessarily increase significantly as employees advance within the company.
