      Working at Shopee provides a lot of opportunities to learn and explore new tech stacks, which can be valuable for career growth. The colleagues are genuinely supportive and make the day-to-day experience better.

      Cons

      That said, the downsides are significant. The benefits are only moderate compared to industry standards, and there is little to no work-life balance. Office politics are strong, with favoritism towards certain groups, which creates an uneven and sometimes frustrating work environment. On top of this, job security is very unstable, as layoffs occur almost every quarter. While the learning opportunities are great, the overall culture, lack of balance, and constant uncertainty make it a challenging place to build a long-term career.
