      Good benefits Fun place to work with good close team members Ability to try new things with support from company

      Cons

      Don't agree with C level values and decisions Can be intense with the reason being that you should work extra hard despite being a large corporation. Culture hasn't been as strong since Covid period.

      Pros

      I absolutely loved my time at Shopify. Had great people I could lean on and learn from, and had phenomenal managers / teammates that cared deeply about problems and the other people working at the company. My growth started to slow over time so I moved, but I have generally good memories of my time.

      Cons

      Hard to shift teams- roadmaps are long, and it can be difficult to have ideas prioritized. Also, growth can slow because of review cycles and quotas.

      Pros

      Company is extremely pro-AI, and encourages all AI tool use. Room for growth if you are junior.

      Cons

      The stress levels at the company have increased tremendously in the last year. Lots of attrition especially in the data teams, and we are continuously understaffed. Mid-level managers are continuously pushed out.
