Hi and thanks for taking time to leave a review. I am glad you appreciate that we have some amazing people working here at Shopify. Shopify is a company who succeeds based on the effort of its many employees, and crucial to that success is the AMAZING Guru team who work directly with our merchants. Shopify puts huge value on the work that Gurus do. Whilst the Guru role can be one of the most rewarding in the company we appreciate that it can also be one of the most challenging, so we do appreciate feedback like your own and we are always looking for ways to make the experience better for the people who fill that role. One recent change is that Gurus are now able to access the Shopify perks immediately upon hire rather than having to wait. If an employee does find their role stressful, there are a variety of support options available. At a grassroots level we have a range of employee organized mental health community groups where you can connect with peers who may be experiencing the same issues. For additional support we also have the coaches network on staff to help develop personal and professional managing techniques. We also offer leave provisions for employees to deal with personal issues as well as the Employee Assistance Program you mentioned, which allows all employees to access professional mental health services whenever they are required.
