Pros

Great people, smart, everyone is approaching and welcoming. At the individual contributor level there is less politics and depending on the team things are very challenging in a fun way. You’ll never get bored (also depending on the team)

Cons

Leadership can push hard for features and not prioritizing building for the long term while putting dev health in jeopardy (overworking on deadlines) but i guess that’s kinda normal. What do you expect different from saas company ?

- Work from home (for now) - Pay is good for Canadian market for now

Cons

- Benefits are below average for a company of this size/stature - Nickel and dimes employees, taking away benefits and making employees pay for extended health and medical coverage that used to be free. - Talent system revamp that makes no sense - They will pay an external hire more than an internal promotion for the same scope of responsibilities - No room for promotions - The HR Chief is a train wreck

- Chaotic environment. More time spent dealing with that than building things that ship. - Unclear development and advancement opportunities. Ambiguous performance and comp system. - Ran by a megalomaniac that surrounds himself by incompetent yes-men.
