Pros

Slack as a product itself is extremely strong - there are many new add-ons/features being added to help the Sales team diversify plays

Cons

Very painful post acquisition - going from Slack to Salesforce was extremely disruptive, many leaders and talented AEs left, and there is still unclear direction from leadership. Many layoffs.

Pros

The pay is solid. The company is large enough that it cares about DEI and acts on it. Quality of life varies between managers.

Cons

It’s possible to be in a position where a manager can make your life difficult. I also found moving teams at slack fairly difficult, it felt as difficult as applying for a whole new job. It seems like the culture changed a bit after the layoffs. Quality of life highly depends on team.
