great tip money per day/ week..."flexible hours", required uniforms (didn't have to worry about what I would wear on a daily basis)

Cons

biased views of a good employee..if the area manager doesn't like you (no matter how qualified you are for advancement you won't get placed any higher than a stylist-with doing responsibilites that are outside of your "pay bracket") lots of customers coming in with lice - i have seen management go against state board regulations and continue with a haircut after acknowledging that the condition exsist

I love the easy money and talking to guys all day! When I am "working" it doesn't really feel like I'm working !

Cons

The few things I don't like about sport clips, is 1. The low pay. 2. They do not offer any benefits. 3. The bank they bank with sucks

Pros

Team is great. Pay is better than any franchise around. Paid vacation after two years. Room for advancement at times.

Cons

Franchise can changed anything they like at anytime. Meaning it was paid vacation after 1 year when started and now its after 2 years without any heads up of changing. Commission has changed as well to where we have to sell at least 1.10 retail per client intead of a 1.00 and do at least 35% backbar(shampoos) instead of the 30% when i started. You have to meet those goals in order to receive 40% of anything over 1500 in service sales.
