I can not sell ice to Eskimos or cut hair like i am on fire!

You HAVE to be a sales person! It is ALL about numbers and how FAST you cut hair 17 min tops for varsity (cut only) 20 min for MVP (cut,shampoo,massage). You are REQUIRED to meet retail sales and "back bar" sales (up-selling) Depending on how BUSY you and how many stylist are on the floor this can be a CHALLENGE. Example: In a 5 hour shift you would have to service at least 10 clients, sell at least 1.00 per client worth of retail and at least 4 of those clients MUST upgrade (back bar). Each stylist is required to make a certain quota to make commission. If you like to SELL product and you are a FAST cutter you will do well in this company.

Guaranteed salary, flexible hours, not open late on weekends and closed holidays.

Cons

Have a set dress code, you have a constant mantra (5 point play) that you have to repeat with everyone, and if it's not in the order that you were trained per corporate do it they peck and peck til you do it right. Can't sit anywhere in unless you're in the back...apparently it looks bad if gosh forbid a client walks in and sees us sitting between cuts. It's very robotic and stepford like.
