I love how detail oriented Sport Clips procedures are. From start to finish, there is a step for every aspect. We are drilled on the "5 point play" procedures which leaves even the most inexperienced stylist looking sharp. We make 10% commosion on any products sold and we also recieve $2 per buddy card brought in by a new guest! Buddy Cards are a retention strategy in which new guests may come in for a free haircut! Since all guests using buddy cards are new to Sport Clips, we upgrade all new guests to the MVP experience

Cons

Working amonst all women is a challenge on its own. + of the gals who i work with obviously hate their job and trust me it shows. What happened to good ol' fashioned teamwork? Throughout the time frame of a few months a lot of my money was missing & it was obvious who was to blame. Management

Made a lot good friend with workers and loved my customers. Tips were so much better serving men clients.We were closed all major holidays and got holiday pay

It is ALL about numbers and how FAST you cut hair 17 min tops for varsity (cut only) 20 min for MVP (cut,shampoo,massage). You are REQUIRED to meet retail sales and "back bar" sales (up-selling) Depending on how BUSY you and how many stylist are on the floor this can be a CHALLENGE. Example: In a 5 hour shift you would have to service at least 10 clients, sell at least 1.00 per client worth of retail and at least 4 of those clients MUST upgrade (back bar). Each stylist is required to make a certain quota to make commission. If you like to SELL product and you are a FAST cutter you will do well in this company.
