Pros

Cute and Comfortable work unifroms (no more high heels), padded floors, great pay and paid vacations, tons of opportunities to grow in the company, the clientele is mostly men and they are great tippers! This job is a lot of fun and you feel like you are part of a team.

Cons

We can be busy at times, which in turn can make you tired. The staff is mostly women and they can sometimes be catty.

Pros

Employees are treated fairly well, even in Corporate stores (franchise stores it will vary based on owner). Corporate is not overbearing and their demands are not unrealistic on Stylists. Stylists are actually paid a fairly decent wage here, and when combined with tips, can easily earn $15 per hour in even just a semi-busy store.

Cons

Corporate mandates that Stylists push up-sales onto customers. This can be off-putting for many customers.
