Pros
Car purchase but not if you are contractor
Cons
No career paths, abussive bosses and work under poor infrastructure conditions. Also, contractors have absolutely no access to any company benefits, not even the company mess nor food discount. I've witnessed on first hand how mediocre can be middle management while the upper management passes by using the fleet vehicles for personal stuff or lend it to their relatives. And last but no least, contractors are not swiched to permanent status in company. There are people who had been working for 11 or 20 years in that situation wich is illegal in the country.
