Pros

Decent pay for Shift leaders. Learned a lot about leadership and the fast food industry. Relationships that you form with customers and other employees.

Cons

A majority of workers are high school students and don’t take the job seriously.

Pros

Being 26 years old, coming from a hostile working environment as a former nurse aide and starting over from scratch to build a life away from abusive family conflict, Taco Bell has a heart. Taco Bell has a plethora of opportunities to grow. They offer great benefits and show me everyday that they want me to succeed and possibly move up the latter someday if and when the time is right. A lot of my co-workers are close to my age and are so helpful and understanding, they really put their heart into their work. Maybe some of the items don't necessarily avoid keeping healthcare in motion (except the healthy choice of a power bowl) unless consumed in moderation, but the bottom line is that they treat their workers way better than the healthcare field coming from my personal workplace experiences. And the food is fantastic! There are open nurse aide positions near town that pay double than my starting wage here at this restaurant and I want nothing to do with them. This is a fast pace job, but it is so quick to learn. I am proud to be apart of this franchise. I have never felt so motivated to work for goals that this company seems willing to help me reach. Management is so polite, knowledgeable and very down-to-earth. The hours truly are flexible and I have a much happier work-life being here.

Cons

I can't think of any cons at the moment. Sure we have had some pretty crazy days that threw everything off routine in a balanced manner, but it did not affect my willingness to come back to work. Management is great, this is a new beginning for me that I am happy to be apart of.
