Easy and Fun job

Business Outlook

Pros

Great flexibility with hours, good for high school or college student, family like environment, endless amounts of food, and fairly nice managers.

Cons

upper management demands a lot but doesn't offer the resources, franchise taco bell's are run to uptight, too much micromanagement going on, no benefits or raises, employes are treated without respect and looked down upon by owners.

Shift Manager

Recommend
Business Outlook

Pros

working with people and developing people skills

Cons

Some store managers tend to be rather stabbing. Pay SUCKS. Shift managers are getting on average $8-9.00 per hour, not much more than regular employees. Only real advantage is guaranteed 40 hours a week. The pay SHOULD be at least $3-5.00 more per hour. Some store managers are making over $60K per year, but assistant managers only get $24-25K, shift managers - who do most all of the work get $18K, just does not seem fair or even reasonable.
