Pros

To gain managerial experience since you encounter an enormous amount of challenges. You truly become able to handle almost anything from angry customers ("guest"), unreliable team members, happy "guest" and many more things. You would never find a better place to challenge your leadership skills.

Cons

There is no work life balance as you are challenged to achieve store goals that keep you in your store a minimum of 9 hours per day with an average of 10+ hours on the weekend if you are the closer manager

Pros

It's a large company with a great brand. They hire tons of people so it isn't hard to get a job there. 80 people started the same day I did, I was told that was about average (corporate).

Cons

Career development is forced down your throat. Employees in line-level jobs who have no interest in career development are forced to participate. Salaried employees are expected to toe the line and convince others it's a great benefit of working there. Pay was below what other companies paid for similar work. Senior management was good, middle management struggled.
