      Pros

      Excellent exposure to subsea components and the opportunity to work in different sub streams on products.

      Cons

      -Product specific jobs have less scope in upcoming years since products are company specific and there are less opportunities for product based engineers as compared to stress or finite element analysis engineers -Work load is more as compared to it's financial compensation -Accelerated projects (most) lead to work life imbalance. Though the practice is shunned and people are suggested to work in normal hours, working with counter parts in different time zones means working beyond regular hours on daily basis. There is no concept of shifts, so one has to extend normal hours to work around 12 hrs at certain times or weeks at length during engineering execution

      Nothing is good for Career

      Cons

      Metal Pressurized (Already work pressure and again manager pressure on unnecessary activities). Mainly regional feeling. We wont get appreciation from manager. Lack for trust and communication. HR team wont take any action on manger. (so many members are given complaint). No hike from 3 years.

      Founded on 2 great companies, FMCTechnologies and Technip

      Cons

      Sadly, the talent and technology superiority which were developed and appreciated in either FMC or Technip are no longer around. The executive team keep projecting a message which is not related to by the employee base nor by the customer. TechnipFMC keeps getting EPC project because the FMC installed base with the largest in the world, but the company is no longer what it once was. Led by execs who can not speak of the product nor have a relevant discussion with the customer base, it is difficult to be inspired by them.
