Overall, my 11 years at TechnipFMC was a pretty stellar experience. The company has huge global presence, which can present myriad possibilities for both career growth and geographic exploration, a very strong emphasis on technology & innovation and overall a strong culture and core values.
Cons
As with many oil & gas services companies, there is a resistance / seeming inability to adopt a progressive attitude and expand into other industries in energy like renewables or focus much of their massive resources on sustainability. In this day and age, many young professional like me want to work for a company that at least acknowledges the need for diversification and an emphasis on contributing to the progress of our planet, which is ultimately why I left the company. After 11 years, I finally acknowledged that I want to be part of something bigger...something that I can get behind and be passionate about.
