High calibre colleagues, interesting work, opportunities to advance knowledge on technical, cultural and social issues, less hierarchy than typical corporation, travel, embraces diversity of thought.
Cons
Career path may be hard- lots of flexibility but may be too unstructured for some. Difficult to succeed without strong internal network. Some who are drawn to the company nevertheless may not be best fits and will struggle more.
