Pros

- Multidisciplinary teams. - Cool people and safe environment. - Company encourages people to learn, innovate and get out of confort zone. - Always there lots of cool thing to do in the office. Such as workshops, talks, study groups, discussion groups, and so on. - If you're trying to surf on the hype, you allowed to do so (most of the times).

Cons

- Bias for not talking about money. - Teams rarely well balanced in terms of expertise and seniority - Occasionaly you'll have a leadership role, this adds more workload and you have no other benefits from it, other than having a leadership experience. - If you have accepted a lower salary thinking that you'll prove yourself and got and raise, you have no other option than leaving the company.

Pros

- People are amazing! You'll definitely feel comfortable to learn anything you want, and be yourself. - Team outings! They encourage the entire team (including client's team) to have great times together. - You'll have a lot of opportunities to travel with the STA (Short Term Assignment) or LTA (Long Term Assignment), which you'll stay in another city working on the client's office with a lot of the costs paid by the company.

Cons

- Some of the managers' decisions are hard to understand. They are conflicting with their own words of what are the companies culture and objectives. - Some of the projects are terrible! You won't have opportunity to improve anything there. And, ThoughtWorks decide to continue with them, since they're key clients to achieve its internal goals. Depending on the project, you could feel trapped there until you decide to left the company.

Pros

Work with good people passionate with it. The economical and social justice discussion brings a lot of people open to discuss and people that want to try make things different for oppressed groups working at the company. The consulting challenges are very motivated.

Cons

The hidden hierarchy makes people feel not safe to navigate inside de company. If you have any problem of someone "above" you or a friend of someone above you, you'll need to be better then everybody to not face any problem.
