Pros

1. Talented engineers and genuinely good colleagues 2. Strong brand name that still helps on a resume 3. Good engineering standards when you actually get to work on real projects

Cons

1. Aggressive hiring with no concrete project planning, followed by sudden layoffs 2. Experienced engineers left idle on the bench for months, then blamed for “low utilization” 3. Performance, skills, and effort matter less than short-term numbers 4. Layoffs handled with poor transparency and zero empathy 5. Psychological safety is a myth when people delivering well are let go without warning 6. Leadership messaging feels disconnected from ground reality 7. “People-first” values collapse the moment business numbers tighten
