Pros

Good entry level job for younger highschool and college students. Reasonable amount of shifts, and training is paid. Often you could get free coffee or tea before or after your shift, however unsure if this is still company policy.

Cons

Management stresses the importance of working quickly, to keep drive though times to a minimum, however also requires a certain standard of quality when preparing food and drink. This leads to a frustrating work experience where supervisors and management rushes you to work quicker and quicker, yet reprimands you for cutting corners with the quality of food or drink. Customers could be quite rude, often becoming aggressive over small mistakes with a coffee or sandwich, and I found myself the target of verbal harassment multiple times during the average work week. Furthermore, full time employee's used to receive certain work-provided benefits, these benefits have since been removed, even for full time workers. Lastly, a smaller con overall, but one that is certainly meaningful: you are no longer permitted (at least at my store location) to make free food and drink during your breaks. For the first year working at Tim's I could freely take a donut and a coffee on my break, after my first year however management changed. They would become increasingly strict over time, and soon we lost the privilege's of free snacks/drinks on break.
