Pros

I worked with a lot of people that I had known and liked previously, so the work environment was pleasant. Our supervisors and management let us do practically whatever we wanted provided that we get our work done, which we happily obliged to. Anyone looking for a first job in high school, this was a good one to learn basic customer service skills and to get an idea of what it takes to have and maintain a job.

Cons

Pay was low but that's expected: the job doesn't take any real skills so you basically just get paid to reflect that. Basically if you can act like you're not a weirdo around people and have very basic math skills, you can do this job. Sometimes hours were a problem if the owner of your particular location was cheap. The location I worked at was open 24/7/365, so I had to work a lot of holidays, including Christmas Day (which sucks extra when you're 15).
