Pros

private tim hortons owned by SSP, working in Pearson international airport, safe area, 65% of in cafeteria, 10-15% other retail and restaurants in the airport, ok hours

Cons

getting a morning shift or weekends off takes years, managers ask you for favours and flexibility and cant do the same, constantly talking about managers to employees, head office has zero sense.

Pros

It is fairly easy to move within the company at a store level. Within 6 months you can pretty much be a supervisor or work in whatever area you want. i.e Drive Thru, baker, etc. Hours are usually available if you're a good worker. There is always something to do and shifts go by quickly.

Cons

Obviously the pay isn't the greatest, especially for bakers, supervisors and management. Two days worth of videos in training that are monotone and pretty pointless if you have common sense. The customers aren't always pleasant. The uniform is getting better but still not the most appealing. A lot of hard work for little pay, not worth it in terms of management and headaches. Some are good workers but most of the people are just there for the paycheck and don't do a good job and you have to pick up their slack.
