Pros

Being able to positively affect the lives of children. Seeing your efforts change the lives of those around you. Challenging your patience and your ability to deal with children and their antics. Understanding children and yourself better. Does not seem to be a job since it is so much fun and play.

Cons

Working with children for 3 straight months and 10 days rotation schedule is difficult and stressful. Additionally, there is scarce amount of time for rest and sleep. Counselours work 10 days and get 2 days off before the next group of children come back again.

Pros

Tim Hortons was a good place to work because the people were fun. The managers were always very respectful, unless you were lazy and good for nothing. If supervisors were overbearing and rude, managers would always step in and give them a reality check. Mostly, I had only good experiences at Tim Hortons with my coworkers and management.

Cons

The downsides of working at Tim Hortons is the job itself. In a nutshell, it sucks. The cleaning, coffee, tea, bagels, EVERYTHING. It just sucks.
