Pros

not a bad place to start working for a part time job, it does have some good qualities about it. The hours weren't too bad, as long as you are a morning person

Cons

You will likely be always expected to fill shifts that other employees can't or won't. It's a bummer having to stay for a 16 hour shift with very little notice

Pros

If you are someone who likes to work in a fast paced environment then Tim Horton's is the place to be. The hours are flexible for those who need flexibility. Working as a team has its benefits as well. You also meet a lot of interesting people both customers and other co-workers.

Cons

You are on your feet a lot. There is also the issue of gossip which there tends to be a lot of. Staff turnover happens a lot as well. Not everyone is cut out for the fast paced environment.

Pros

The owner of the store I work for is very flexible in scheduling the hours I work on the night shift. For employees (or family members of) pursuing or continuing post secondary education,The Tim Hortons Scholarship. (every little bit helps) Tim Hortons is very involved with minor sports and other community events (To what degree depends largely on the franchise owner) As a company, Tim Hortons strongly promotes community involvement.

Cons

I work straight midnight weekends and do not recieve any kind of shift premium. Tim Hortons has set a very low wage cap on hourly wages. After 14 years of working straight midnight weekends I am earning the highest hourly wage allowable, Which is only $2 dollars above minimum wage. Tim Hortons is very inflexible when is comes to a fair pay scale.
