Pros

Great people, engaging work, Flexible Time off

Cons

Benefits are consistently getting cut(I.E. Gym memberships are no longer covered unless you opt in to a very limited network for an additional fee), Execs have confirmed that they have no plans to adjust salaries for inflation rates. ~9% in California this year so far, instead they're giving us a 3% bonus to compensate... not a great look. Everybody that I speak with on this internally is upset.

Toxic Culture due to new hiring

Recommend
Business Outlook

Pros

Employee perks and compensation Latest Tech Stack

Cons

The technical architects who have zero people management skills are put into managerial roles even if they are new hire which makes work culture and wlb tough for subordinates who are from a healthy environment. Need proper skilled team leaders to lead and nurture a healthy environment. People who are hired recently from service based firms behave like they are the boss running the show and behaving rudely with the team. They say they have flexibility in work but people who are working remotely are suddenly asked to visit office purely due to manager's ego, this process should be regulated and overseen by management.

Management (or lack thereof) is a mess

Recommend
Business Outlook

Pros

FTO policy, work from home available

Cons

The marketing department has been struggling since 2020. TransUnion is unable to hold on to good employees because everyone is unhappy- every week there is a resignation announcement or two. The employee survey showed that many people feel undervalued and underpaid, and yet nothing has/will be done about it. There is no opportunity for career growth, promotions are withheld, and annual raises are difficult or impossible to come by, even to match inflation and living costs.
