Pros

New owners are currently investing in hiring, systems, acquisitions, and in renovating the building to encourage workforce engagement and company growth. There are plenty of job opportunities for those who are willing to take charge of their own career. Great access to public transportation. Good salaries and benefits.

Cons

It is difficult to get projects done and priorities change at a high frequency. Multiple ownership changes have taken a toll on employees and the culture. There are very few women in upper management (boys club), despite mentoring initiatives.

Pros

TransUnion is an excellent company to build expertise in the credit bureau industry as well as progress in your career goals.

Cons

The key downside of working with TransUnion LLC is that they are a privately-held company and there are virtually no stock options or other means of equity sharing available for employees.

Pros

One of the best reasons to work for TransUnion would be if you like and excel at a very structured work week. People generally get in around 8:30 AM and leave the office around 4:30 PM. Its changed a bit more since 2006, and in 2007 they went through big layoffs. The first time in the history of the company. The company offered decent benefits and they offered a nice profit sharing contribution to the 401(k) fund. Though its not a pension, it was a benefit that can help you save faster for your retirement. The health and vision benefits were okay as well. Pretty standard.

Cons

There are no services for career planning or advancement.
