Limited career progression options and salary is lower compared to the rest of the industry which is a disadvantage when you decide to leave after a long stint at TU.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at TransUnion. It's really important to us that we're giving our associates opportunities to grow and develop their careers at TU. A couple years ago, we hired an in-house career advisor who offers regular career management programs and 1:1 coaching. Providing a competitive compensation package is also incredibly important to us, and we not only evaluate salary but other total rewards each year to ensure we're competitive with the market. In 2017 alone, we enhanced three of our benefits and added three new benefits to our existing offerings, including increased life insurance and pet insurance. Thanks again for sharing your feedback - it is incredibly important to us. If you feel like we've missed the mark, I would definitely welcome your ideas and thoughts. - Anne Leyden, EVP HR

We appreciate your feedback about our flexible time off and learning opportunities. We're always looking to provide industry-leading benefits that give you flexibility for the things that are important to you in and out of the office. Thank you for your suggestion on offering additional healthy food options. If you haven't already, I suggest you share this feedback with our Total You wellness team. I know we've made a conscious effort to offer healthier, diverse food options at affordable pricing at our onsite cafe - if you haven't been in a while, definitely check it out. - Anne Leyden, EVP HR

Pros

Friday morning bagels & donuts!

Cons

You get paid to sit in front of three computers and do nothing. Not enough work for a 9 hour shift. Horrible pay. No proper training.

I'm sorry to hear your experience at TransUnion hasn't been as positive as we would hope. If you're not feeling challenged, I would highly encourage you to talk to your manager - we want you to have meaningful work and know that the work you're doing is making a difference. I'd also suggest that you look into tools and resources we offer to continue building your capabilities. As you know, we recently launched LinkedIn Learning, which is a great tool to learn new skills. If you have any other feedback to share or would like to discuss how you feel we've missed the mark on salary, please reach out to me directly. - Anne Leyden, EVP HR
