Pros

Good flexibility and autonomy. Good benefits, convenient location and nice work environment. I work with a lot of smart people who care about what they do. TransUnion has good solutions, is always working on developing better ones, and has a lot of potential.

Cons

For the most part, If you are not in Senior Management here you are all but ignored. Ambition of senior managers overrides their interest in encouraging and supporting their own team members. And the top execs here encourage that style of management.

Pros

They are a great company that's been around a long time but just went public; Jim Peck is a strong and very personable CEO/President. The company is focused on driving revenue and building a strong company (through acquisitions). I've been a happy employee here and very satisfied with the benefits package that came along with my employment. Talent acquisition team seams strong, they know the type of people they want to bring into the company and meet the hiring manager's needs. TU has locations all around the country to choose; headquartered in Chicago, offices in FL, AL, PA, CO, TX, CA...

Cons

The pace of TU is fast; things are always changing and associates need to keep abreast of what's going on. Between work and commute times, family time is lacking. Due to commutes, interaction between employees after hours (e.g., get togethers, ...) are lacking (which could be a good thing I guess). CBT Training....uuuugh; the number of computer based training modules and policy letters I've read is staggering!

Pros

Great Products!

Cons

Company is trying to find itself right now. Too many executive hires. If you are looking for a flat organization, this place ain't for you!
