Pros

They're really trying to improve employee engagement. Lots of discounts are available because it's a larger company. My position offers flexible hours. My division introduced summer hours where you can take a day off by making up the time during the remaining days in the pay period.

Cons

Lots and lots of bureaucracy. It's often difficult to get the right resources to do your job. Management can be very manipulative telling one person one thing, then turning around and telling another person something else completely. They talk a good game about advancing your career, but it seems to sort of depend on how willing your own manager is to lose you from their team.

Pros

Team-based work environment, good work/life balance.

Cons

Limited training and little guidance for a summer intern on day to day tasks.
