Pros

They hired me, supported me for two years, and I learned some programming techniques I was unfamiliar with before. There are some fun people there.

Cons

Training was terrible. I have learned far more about the systems at my new job in two months than I did in two years at TU. It is a very closed culture that I found it impossible to break into.

Transunion, Not What You Think

Pros

At one time there was a camaraderie that was unmatched by any company in Atlanta. Employees and Employer really cared about each other and the company. However, it has changed dramatically in the last 3 years.

Cons

TransUnion, either due to the fact they were sold to Goldman Sachs or a “bottom-line” atmosphere emerged from the promotion me first managers, the company’s culture changed dramatically to one of “get the product out at any cost”. There is now an underlining air of, “I hate this place but I guess I will work here until something better comes up”. With this type of attitude the product you receive from your employees is only satisfactory and not superb.
