Pros

The culture at TransUnion is the real selling point: associates are encouraged to collaborate with peers in their teams and across the organization. Overall, there is a general sense that everyone is willing to help, including higher level execs. The company has also put a lot of investment into making TransUnion a great place to work with recent renovations to the corporate headquarters and focus groups on the associate experience. TransUnion offers competitive benefits as well.

Cons

There is still room for growth in terms of outdated or inefficient processes/procedures. However, with the culture shift and push for greater innovation, this area should improve over time.

Company is trying hard to change the culture to one that is more innovative and energetic.

Cons

Open area workspaces are very difficult to work in. Too much trust in paid consultants (snake oil salesmen) to solve problems that internal staff could solve. Many untalented managers hide behind jargon and platitudes.
