Transunion, Not What You Think

Pros

At one time there was a camaraderie that was unmatched by any company in Atlanta. Employees and Employer really cared about each other and the company. However, it has changed dramatically in the last 3 years.

Cons

TransUnion, either due to the fact they were sold to Goldman Sachs or a “bottom-line” atmosphere emerged from the promotion me first managers, the company’s culture changed dramatically to one of “get the product out at any cost”. There is now an underlining air of, “I hate this place but I guess I will work here until something better comes up”. With this type of attitude the product you receive from your employees is only satisfactory and not superb.

Good place to settle if you want a flat career with better work/life balance

Pros

Offers decent career growth with good work/life balance. Co-workers are friendly and offer advice without hesitation. Company provides lots of opportunity to socialize with fellow workers. The top most management is sort of approachable where the middle management is not.

Cons

Not suitable for people who want a fast track career. Career options are limited and very few areas have chellenging/rewarding positions. There is too much process followed and use VERY old technology ! Compensation is not competitive either.
