Pros

Working within Unilever Prestige gives you fantastic exposure to globally recognised luxury beauty brands and great insight into how large-scale campaigns are adapted for different markets. The experience is valuable for anyone looking to build a career in the premium beauty space. Many of the people I worked with were genuinely lovely, talented, and collaborative, which makes for a supportive team environment.

Cons

Most of the work focuses on UK adaptations rather than original creative development, so there’s limited opportunity to shape the creative direction. When new ideas are suggested, they’re often overlooked in favour of routes set by external teams. Expectations around delivery can also feel unrealistic at times, particularly when reliant on delayed assets from US teams, with limited support to help improve these workflows.
