Cons

Too much bureaucracy for efficient decision making. More of who you know versus what you know. Pay scale below market standards.

Good working environment, team working. Flexible working. Not too hierarchical, your voice can be heard Many opportunities for lateral career move

Cons

Slow, bureaucratic, risk adverse Lots of statements of intention but does not really materialise Compensation definitely below industry average Organisation gets flatter, with fewer opportunities to move up whilst more is asked for same level of compensation
