Pros

It is a great opportunity to grow and learn from others. There are opportunities to move up if you are motivated.

Cons

In order to move up, you must be visible - that is, your oral communication must be great so others can see that too.

Pros

For junir people / young graduates interested in marketing of FMCG, this is one of the best places to get experience.

Cons

Short-term (quaterly or even monthly) decisions driven by recent business performance over-rule the yearly strategy led by consumer preferences. Complex decision taking, alwyas shared reposnsibility among a group of people (even on senior levels0 makes decision takign slow. Lack of knowledge transfer (whena person changes job, the knwoledge experties leaves with him/her)

Social/corporate responsibility Work life balance respected Thorough research department, will make sure credible science is done and products do what they are claimed to do

Cons

restructuring and reorganizing in Foods R&D has been so frequent in recent years, that much opf the personel has become demotivated very internal look, "we are the best" feeling, often not realistic Can be very bureaucratic
