Pros

50% off staff discount. Free ice cream and coffee. Used to have purposeful culture and brands

Cons

Unilever has lost its way over the past few years of multiple senior leadership changes. Too focused on short term profitability, slow to react to market so always play catch up game. SG hub downsized because of high overhead costs. Current employees are extremely overworked with little impact on market share. Signals that strategy is wrong. Also throw away its sustainability agenda almost completely, despite pioneering and driving USLP during Paul Polman and Alan Jope’s time. This year’s COP30 contribution is evidence of blame-shifting.
