      Pros

      Nothing. I have to keep typing characters. Zero. Spending a lot of money on compensation tools that don't work. This is crazy.

      Cons

      18 days into April and the national sales team has no idea what our Q1 numbers are, or if any of us made bonus. What are they doing to our numbers behind the scenes? We can't argue if they are off a few percent, as they always are, due to multiple systems capturing data. Meanwhile, saving a few percentage points per rep adds up to a very nice chunk staying in Univar's pocket. Could you imagine this happening at any other sales & marketing organization? No.

      Some great people but loads of bureaucracy

      Pros

      There are quite a few great people working there. Good network of available materials for your customers and a good information system to see those materials.

      Cons

      The large size of the company causes massive amounts of bureaucracy that makes getting things done for your customer much more difficult than necessary. Sales team more focused on reporting than customers. Many many of the good people have left or are on the verge of leaving.

      The people you work with are great

      C suite intimidate and shove there expectations down your throats all the while taking away the necessary tools you need to actually do your job. They think you dont need skilled people to do the job, just make everyone work hard and longer while taking away all benefits.
