      Pros

      The pay is not too bad, and the benefits are as decent as the next. A good way to get your foot in the door.

      Cons

      There is little to no training; everything is very "hands off." People are being laid off and those left behind have to over compensate to fill in the holes. There's no room for growth or improvement. Much like other reviews, I agree there are too many people in management who do not know what they are doing. Raises are abysmal. For me, it's a job that pays the bills. I don't see myself making a career out of this place.

      Pros

      Good company benefits, for example medical dental. Performance bonuses can be fairly good if you're in a position to receive one.

      Cons

      Training is virtually nonexistent for account managers/sales reps. They are expected to just know it and are sent out into the field to sink or swim.

      Pros

      Work together to achieve our goals. The employees were my best friends and family. Univar was a great company to work for in the last 30 years.

      Cons

      Expect employees to work 12-18 hours a day. If you are not in the good old boys club, advancements or promotions are very limited.
